Marram Grass And pingao Grass

In class we have been doing more about flora & fauna in NZ again we had to read more of Uncle Don Knows Heaps Of Wacky Stuff, this time we read up to page 8 to 11 and had to discover more new things about animals & plants. I did my one about marram grass and pingao grass here it is!

Rock Pools/Tide Pools

 Hello Everyone,

Today we had to learn about flora and fauna, and learn a lot about it and we had to read this book called "Uncle Don know heaps of wacky stuff" after we finished that we had to come a DLO of one the facts in the book I did Rock pools because they looked interesting and we had to make a google drawing about it here is mine!

Would I rather live in Burkina Faso or Verkhoyansk?

Hello Everyone,

Today I will be talking about would I live in Burkina Fuso or Verkhoyansk and some facts about the places let start with the facts 

- Verkhoyansk holds the record for both the hottest and the coldest temperatures ever.
- Burkina Faso has one of the most fertility rates in the world
- Verkhoyansk is a place in Russia 
-Burkina Faso is a place in Africa 
-Verkhoyansk was founded in 1638 and is a minor center for tin and gold 
-Burkina Faso means the "Land of Incorruptible people"

Now I would rather live in Verkhoyansk I am not a big fan of cold weather but not really any weather but its says that Burkina Faso is a hot, dry place and I would rather live in the cold then the hot.

Today I have blog post about the places in NZ, Where places are and a fact about them Have a Look!

North Island -is one of the 2 main islands

Christchurch - Is Famous for the basecamp of the south islands exploration

South Island - IS bigger than the north island 

South Pacific Ocean - It cover up more than 30% of the earths surface 

Auckland - Auckland's second name is the city of sails 

Tasman Sea - Was named after Dutch explorer Abel Tasman

Wellington - Wellington is the Southernmost capital in the world
